BIBLICAL TRAINING
Cultivating a sincere love and appreciation of the Word of God is an essential part of the life of a Intern. Our Core Bible courses will stir up a greater hunger for the Word and challenge you to go beyond just accepting what you’ve heard and deepen your understanding of what the Lord is saying to His church and why. Each instruction session is full of relevant Biblical truths that will equip each Intern with the character and knowledge essential for Kingdom service.
MINISTRY TRACKS
One of the goals of the His Interns program is to expose interns to the many ministries within a church, which work together to usher in the presence of God, minister to His people, and equip them for the work of the House. During their first year, interns will spend their time rotating through the various ministries and outreaches of In His Presence Church, which will allow them to focus on one area of ministry more specifically in their second year. We believe that a significant portion of leadership training can only take place in a hands-on environment.
FIELD TRAINING
We believe that one of the vital components of training our interns in the work of the ministry is the participation in mission trips. His Interns partners with local and international ministries, supported by In His Presence Church, in the countries of Thailand, Lebanon, the Philippines, India, and more. Interns will participate in at least one local outreach and one international mission trip each year.
DEVOTIONAL LIFE
As His Intern, you will participate in daily corporate prayer with other interns, led by various Pastors and leaders, which will assist you in learning how to pray, understanding the different types of prayer, and developing a passion for prayer. It is our hope that you develop a steadfast, personal prayer life and a hunger to know God in a greater way. Interns will also be spending time building relationships and ministering in the context of small groups. This is a time to be mentored by some of our best leaders and to see your own leadership skills develop as you interact with others in life-giving accountability relationships.
