Pastors Tymme & Aury Reitz’s Biography
Before their introduction to ministry in the late 90’s, Pastors Tymme & Aury Reitz danced for artists such as Madonna, Will Smith, Missy Elliott, Backstreet Boys, Dru Hill, and Shanice. Their work has been highlighted in annual award shows, network television, films, commercials, and stage productions.
Shortly after getting saved, this dynamic couple began using their dance & choreography gift for the gospel. They have flown around the United States, Canada, Central America, and Asia to teach, speak and perform.
In February of 2001, they co-founded The Arts Prophetically Speaking Dance Ministry (TAPS Dance), at In His Presence Church, in Woodland Hills, California. Over the last 6 years, TAPS Dance has led hundreds of people to Christ through various stage productions.
In 2005, the Reitz duo launched the Word In Motion Dance Company. A company designed to disciple dancers, perform, and reach the lost. The core purpose behind this company is to teach dancers how to use their gifts for ministry and live an uncompromising lifestyle.
Since Word In Motion was founded, the company members have had the opportunity to teach at national workshops & conferences, perform in multiple benefits / ministry crusades / award shows / and church services. Word In Motion is currently producing & hosting the international “Word In Motion Urban Dance Festival” (in the Los Angeles area). Hip hop, Latin funk, Street Jazz & House are some of the dance styles taught at this annual gathering where powerful worship services are also conducted.
Word In Motion has also produced 2 instructional dance videos in the last 2 years. These videos teach on the beginner, intermediate, and advance level.
In May of 2005, Tymme & Aury Reitz were ordained as pastors at In His Presence Church. They currently facilitate the IHP Underground Hip Hop Service . . . an exciting hour and a half of ministry full of dance, music, multi media, and relevant teaching.
Pastors Tymme & Aury currently reside in beautiful Santa Clarita, California with their 2 lovable shihtzu dogs: Bugzy & Molly.
